He has learned the ropes very quickly around here! A HUGE difference between a German Rottweiler puppy and a Beagle puppy. We likey this one a lot. I think he's going to be a great fit in our family, the kids just need to learn how to handle animals- it's painfully obvious how unnatural it is for them!
Why Ludo?
Have you seen the 1980's movie Labyrinth? With David Bowie, and Jennifer Connolley... Ludo is a large beast who people are afraid of because of how he appears, but he's a great friend and actually nice. So many people had said "Gasp! A rottweiler, around your small kids?!" Golden retrievers and Lab's are more common large dogs for families, but they have higher instances of biting children, and aren't great at training for guard dogs. Rotties are better in both areas! Love 'em!

So someday our dog will be a big beefcake like this dog, around 120 lbs +. In the mean time, he's a big bigger than Max, but weighs 15 lbs, Max has him beat at 21 lbs!
