Who will remain annonymous, This "open mind challenge" goes both ways. You can say that "having an open mind is a choice" all you want. But when a person opens their mind, contemplates the depths and virtues of the situation, and concludes differently than you do... but YOU are the one who can't accept differences, who really then needs the open mind?
Mine is open. Yours is just too closed to tell the difference.

Did someone irritate April?! ;)
ouch! this isn't about me is it? Is it about the gay judge in the miss america pagent...?
No Ivy it isn't about you at all! But it is about a gay issue. Appearantly to be 'open minded' means you have to agree with what other people think is right. If you don't agree, you're a prude. Open mindedness does not mean you have to be on the same wagon, and that's what irks me.
But what's with the judge and the miss america pagent? I guess I missed that headline, although I did hear about one of the contestants standing up for her position against gay marraige. Good for her to voice her feelings, even if they aren't popular.
go to youtube and search for miss california. you should be able to find "the issue" I am referring to. The judge did a video diary and was actually quite a big jerk about the whole thing. right along with the open mindedness stuff you're referring to.
And....*whew* a big sigh of relief it wasn't about me ;)
